There’s nothing better than spending a relaxing afternoon and as racuous as I can get these days evening with one of my closest friends, Mack D. I do adore coffee, and so does she, and we usually incorporate a lot of this into our time spent together. Last Friday, I took her on her first jaunt to Wired Puppy, where she gobbled a Mate Freddo (hey, sometimes the herbal refresh gets knocked about) and I the standard iced.

And of course, she modeled the Holy Cowl I made for her in a pistachio organic yarn. It’s a perfect match for her and I’m pleased it has a splendid new neck to call home. More snaps of the Holy Cowl at its Flickr set (note: Holy Cowl is by Purls of Wisdom! Go read her and make her patterns! Fun!).

Which was all follow up, quite naturally, by a delicious pitcher and cilantro-carrot-chick pea lettuce cups at Otherside, and the Twilight Sad gig in the Middle East. Freaking Cheers to the impending weekend (and last weekend, too).
