End of May Mittens, gifted to my sister for Christmas this year. Easy colorwork done in worsted weight–Cascade 220 Heathers for the main, Cascade 220 for the contrasting. 220 Sport was used for the inner cuff. Little details make these mittens special.

A cabled tam in natural. This winter I’m obsessed with natural wools, and cables to go with.
I’ve been keeping a sketchbook of late, not because I’m a particularly good artist, but because I’ve been inspired by the colorful, ingenious sketchbooks of my friend r.r.’s students. I look at their work constantly and am inspired.
Here is a fair isle sweater I sketched quickly the other day; I’m hoping to eventually turn this into some knitwear.
