I forgot we’re in January, Boston, and I should be wearing boots out in the morning. But these oxfords have survived a few light dustings and should be no worse for the wear.
My good friend r.r. had her first baby, Owen, in December. She so graciously posed this little man in the moccasins I knit him for his entrance into the world. Smashing, indeed!
I used super soft Blue Sky Alpacas sport weight yarn for these booties; scraps of sport weight red and white used for the embroidery on top.
I knit this modern garden cardigan more than two years ago; its still hanging where I put it when I finished blocking it; two years ago. Why do I never wear the sweaters I actually finish knitting?
Should I wear it?
The striped noro scarf I made for Sean; knitted with four skeins of Noro Kureyon.
The blanket I knitted Sean for Christmas; it’s the three panel garter stripes afghan from Comfort Knitting and Crochet: Afghans done up in bulky yarn featuring combinations of three colorways: dark heathered gray, light heathered gray, and camel heather. I’m pretty pleased with how it came out, but hate hate hated seaming the panels.
