A B O U T
This is a blog about everything and anything Jenna is crafting, cooking, eating, reading, or generally obsessing over, here in the Boston area. When not cataloging her make with hands endeavors here, she is a technology instruction librarian at a school by day, helping educators deploy meaningful technology and Web 2.0 tools in the classroom to better engage students. When not playing with geeky computers, she teaches fiber arts/knitting classes, and is grateful her school finds handiwork a valuable educational experience. What’s more, she’s able to use various Web 2.0 tools in her knitting classes to merge a traditional mode of making with a new, innovative form of creativity on the web. Her interests include graphic novels (books of any order, for that matter), any and all works by Adrian Tomine, Drawn & Quarterly, wedges of pungent cheese, pints of beer, felted squiddles, anything spiraled ham, black coffee and hot whiskey, librarians who wear cat eye glasses, 50s inspired housecoats, self striping sock yarn, journalists, writers amok, punk monkeys, music music music (please nod over to her first love, Pulp and Circumstance where she talks all things instrumental), the bump (yes, the dance). Basically, she’s a nerd who spends too…
