It’s all about lazing on the porch or the dock with book after book after book in summer. Well, that’s my version of bliss, anyway. Right now, I’m knee deep in this epic tale, Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry. I’ve read a few others, but this is his swan song, I suppose.
Hope you’re loving it. An all time great novel.
I finished it in July. It was great, except the most intriguing character wasn’t introduced until 500 pages in. It left me yearning for more of her story.
Clara? She comes up a lot more in the prequel. I was sad when they ate the pigs.
