They key to incredible homemade pizza is three things: homemade dough, fresh ingredients, and a pizza stone with the oven cranked up to 500 degrees.
This was an easy weeknight meal for me; a white pizza with olive oil, fresh basil, heirloom tomatoes (which I quickly roasted in the oven with olive oil, salt, and pepper before I assembled the pizza), and whole milk ricotta cheese. Yum.

Misshapen pizza always taste the best – a sign of freshly made dough! Reminds me of my nana’s pizza. I can’t wait until we have fresh tomatoes!
