transmute.

A year after I began the Transmute pullover, I have finally finished. For some reason, I stalled on this project last spring and didn’t pick it up again until last month. But, I’m so pleased this one is off the needles because it’s a dream project.

The fit is to die for and the waist shaping is a dream come true. The boat neck is a little wider than I normally like, but I’m embracing it.

This was a completely stash busting project, which makes me even more proud. Knit up using 3 skeins of Plucky Knitter Sock in the Good Ol’ Pip color way, which is this beautiful gray purple color, and one skein of blush colored Shibui Sock that I had laying around for years.

There’s nothing better than knowing one of your favorite knits to date came about rather randomly and featured old yarns you didn’t quite know what to do with.

What are your favorite stash busting projects?
