Too many balls, plenty of juggling time?

With the kitty-cat pom-pom hybrid hat nearly finished save for a few small details, there's nothing I love more than a quiet night balling new yarns and casting on various ideas for a new project.I picked more medium weight merino wool yarn in two amazing hues of purple (one of my favorite colors) but I'm not sure whether to make another hat--this time striped--or perhaps a really wide, uber-warm scarf for the dead of winter, or maybe even mittens. So here I sit, trying out ideas to see what I like, which means swatching and cast on and yanking out and all that hoo.And thanks to left-over mac n' cheese from the other night's dinner, I've got "comfort" in the above endeavors.
