weathered clay pots.
Took a stab at "aging" some of my clay pots for that weathered terra cotta look. I used this tutorial from The Curtis Casa, which is actually a pretty unique blog I will now follow. All you need is a mixture of baking powder and water. However, I wanted some "color" in my aging, and so used some turquoise and green and white paints to achieve the exact look. I didn't measure anything, but it was just a mixture of all these elements until I thought it was just right.Tip: used a piece of stiff cardboard to rub off some of the paint and baking soda to create texture. What do you think? Success?
