My guy says he loves my knitted socks, and every time I see him, he's wearing a pair. I feel like if he were just playing nice and gentle with my feelings, he'd enjoy them in the moment and then tuck them into a drawer somewhere. I've been eyeing them for awhile and had some Shi Bui Yarn Staccato in in jumpsuit laying around, plus little bits of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Lite in antique lace left over from that sweater I made myself last summer. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to make them; valentine's is all about handmade gifts, the color red, and my inability to get too literal with my gifting.
