f.o.: stria cardigan.
I thought knitting the Stria Cardigan by Andrea Mowry would be so tedious, given all that fisherman rib and ends to weave in.
But surprisingly, this was right sweater at the right time. It just flew off my needles and I had a ton of time over my winter break to sink my teeth in and knit for hours in the cold.
I couldn't procure the yarn called for in the pattern (a bunch of the contrasting colors were out of stock) so I snagged a similar yarn. The Brooklyn Tweed Arbor is so soft and squishy--it ended up being a perfect match for this project. The main color is muslin and the contrasting stripes are in burnished, mesa, nori, and patina.
See all my project notes here. I still haven't worn this one yet, but I'm hoping I'll get in some wear this fall.
