f.o.: shadow stripe pullover.
The Shadow Stripe Pullover by Jared Flood was an absolute dream to knit. The saddle shoulder construction was different and playful and I absolutely love the fit and drape of this garment. Endless color combinations but I went with exactly the color and shape of one of the full length samples that was featured—not colors I normally wear but that lime green is so gorgeous and fun.
Knit up in Brooklyn Tweed Tones Light with baseline undertone as the main color, and the contrasting colors are zest overtone and undertone. The zest undertone, when coupled with the baseline undertone, give off a blueish hue. Green and gray next to one another in these garter stripes is just so gorgeous.
I’m really pleased with this final product but I have yet to wear it. It’s like when I finish garments, they feel to precious to me to put on or I’m just over it. I’m hoping I can actually get this one into regular wearing rotation.
My ravelry project notes are here, as always. Snaps of me actually wearing this soon, soon.
