It only took a year, but this pandemic afforded me the time to buckle down and hold myself accountable to finishing projects I started a long while ago. The Purl Soho Flying Geese beaded loom bracelet was just one of those projects. I started it in earnest back in August 2019 and nearly finished theContinue reading “f.o. : flying geese woven bracelet.”

f.o.: beaded resist earrings
This summer, I cranked out these drop peyote earrings that say RESIST on them. They are bold and loud. I really loved them. My sister helped me with the design and then I executed on the pattern. The drop on these is 3-4 inches. Resist.

Until PurlBKnit’s Brandi Harper and her brilliant finger knitted necklaces with gorgeous t-shirt yarns, sold in kits, no less. This was such a quick and instantly gratifying make. It took about five minutes for a million compliments onContinue reading “f.o. | finger knit necklace.”
misc. make | gouache beaded necklace.
I’ve been into making jewelry of late. It’s kind of this groove I am in–peyote beading, painting wooden beads, earrings. I’ve even opened a new shop, which only features this side of my making. This summer, I made a gradient wooden necklace that features shades of orange and turquoise. I’m in love with the endContinue reading “misc. make | gouache beaded necklace.”
