tea / jam.
One of my favorite sweaters for sheer comfort. I knit this up in a couple of lazy August days this past summer, which feels like a century ago now as we experience one of the most brutal arctic blasts here in Boston this week. The Tea with Jam and Bread pattern is so simple to follow, fits really really well, and has a nice neckline. Plus, you can knit it up in any worsted weight yarn, and the color combinations are endless. I'm definitely making more of these, or modifying the stripes pattern, because this shape is perfect for my petite frame.I used Malabrigo Merino Worsted for this version-- in the pearl ten colorway for the main color, and bits of azul verde and water green for the stripes and pocket details. I definitely want to knit one in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter and one in Madelinetosh, but maybe no pockets next time.
