frosted alpine.

Baby knits are so quick and so satisfying. Last night, I whipped up this adorable little earflap hat, called Frosted Alpine, designed by the always incredible Tanis Lavallee.

These hats make great stash buster projects, too, because they only use a little bit of yardage, and the color combinations are endless. I love to use remnants from other projects, and usually always have multiple colorways on hand.

This version was knit up using Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage in the faded parka colorway for the crown and pom, Manos Del Uruguay Maxima in oxygen and acid. I love these colors so much, I want to knit an adult sized one for my guy!

I’m pretty sure this one will be for my future nephew, who arrives in December.
