makes by me: hilma sweater.

Things I spend time making—and never wear. This one is the Hilma pullover by Amy Blackwell for Pom Pom Quarterly and while I had to muddle through without errata, I think it came out pretty beautifully. I don’t know if I’ll wear it; they often end up being gifted. I love making things but I don’t know how to celebrate the things I make. I’m working on it. I’m trying to think differently about myself and not find the flaws in everything I do.

I used the exact materials the pattern called for--Malabrigo Yarn Rios in five colors.
