f.o.: grandma's medley.
Realizing I've failed to document so many things I've made over the last few years as the audience for blogging dwindled, I'm looking at what I've made during this time. And even though no one is reading this, that's O.K. It's kind of a living record of how I've stuck with this craft and kept at it; how I've grown, explored new fiber, stretched myself to try new things and to take risks.

f.o.: regolith.
So this is the third pattern I've knit from the gorgeous Cosmology Collection by Kiyomi and Sachiko Burgin--it's the Regolith hoodie by Kiyomi Burgin and boy it's beautiful.

2024: year of socks?
I've made a lot of socks for other people. I loved these ones from last winter, which I never got final snaps of and are now gone. They were perfect in every way; the right colors, the right pattern, executed just as I had envisioned in my mind (this does not happen all the time for me, unfortunately).

f.o. : piilo sweater.
This is the Piilo Sweater by Jonna Hietala and it's lovely. The pattern is quite clear and the end results are gorgeous and quite comfortable.

f.o. : hilma sweater.
Honestly, this Hilma Sweater by Amy Blackwell I knit last winter was quite the labor of love. I adore Pom Pom Quarterly. Every issue, I covet a ton of the designs. And the collection as a whole is so beautiful--it's fashion.

f.o. : gr8 gingham.
This sweater was a love/hate knit for me. I absolutely love this pattern--Gr8 Gingham Raglan by Jessie Maed Designs--and the effect of knitting it with the colors in the original sample, which are so not colors I would normally go for but...I went in.

f.o. : bistripe hat.
I haven't made too many hats in recent years because it is indeed true: you can have too many hats and you can gift too many hats. That being said, Bistripe Beanie by James Watts came along and who said too many hats?

w.i.p.: the balan cardigan.
Please help me find the inspiration and brain space to pick up the amazing Balan Cardigan by Emily Greene that I started last spring.
